immobiliser wiring

I have an H&P immobiliser ( PWB labeled as 1992) which has been disconnected from the car by cutting through the thick black wires. I am able to open the unit, so I can trace the wires to their destinations. Does any one know which is which? in particular the power in and ground. The key wires are un damaged.

H&P immobiliser? How about some electrical schematics or pictures, a website to H&P immobiliser?

Last but not least! What car are you working on; we need Model and Year?

H&P make the OEM immobilisers for several manufacturers including porsche, and typicaly they work on several circuits simultaneously. They are very well engineerd , housed in a welded steel box and silicone potted into the box. In the case of my example the silicone didnt bond to the case that well, and I was able to eventualy prise the whole free with out damage. My car is a Euro spec S2, but given the immobiliser is dated '92, and the car was made in 84, it has to be a retrofit. The key socket is still available from Porsche. I'll adda picture this evening... Mind I might also attack the circuit with a meter and work out what is what the hard way. It all depends on the kids going sleep.
thanks,
John

John, are you British? The only reason I ask, is that what you call an H&P immobilizer, here in the states maybe called something else. I’m looking forward to your pictures.

The three black wires centre picture are the area of interest, the right wire is connected to what I take to be the ground plane, the left and centre are i think power in and ignition fed power to hold the device on when the motors running. I have tracked the remaining wires to individual relays.
sorry its taken so long to get the pictures sorted.
