PCA concourse HB, Calif Sun 6/3/07
Saw this and it looks like it might be fun, Porsche Parade down in San Diego looks kinda scary.

There are two main car events I know about, VCR Vintage Coffee Roaster which is someplace up in Woodland Hills I think, and Cars and Coffee in Irvine at the Ford/Mazda campus (Irvine Spectrum, 5 and 405 merge).
Early am plans Sat or Sun tend to poof on me. Specific to 928's the big one is in Oct, Sharktoberfest at 928 Intl in Anaheim, with smaller things from time to time at the homes of one of the Socal928 members like Dr Bob. http://groups.msn.com/socal928 Its much more active than it looks because most of the members talk to each other on rennlist instead of via the groups MSN forum. I turned hardcore about getting a 928 last year about 5 days after Sharktoberfest, and haven't made any of the events except Calif Speedway for the first race of the season. I'd like to meet some of the people, and see some cars, but I don't drink coffee or big surprise wake up fast on weekends. PCA and POA do both track and social stuff, but I don't belong to either yet, or follow the schedule.

The two 928's at the concourse this morning were Bronto's silver and Bob Edwards black, picts at the end of this thread.
