The cc difference between the 4.5, 4.7, and 5.0 motors reasonably accounts for about half at best of the HP gains people are reporting, what do you all think about valve shrouding being responsible for the rest?
** valve shrouding is the reduced flow through a valve when its close to the wall of the cylinder. The idea here being the 100 mm bore of the 5.0 block vs the 95 or 97 mm of the 4.5 or 4.7 block.
