Will this rim size work?
I am not completely up to date on my rim sizes. Will the following 'Twists' work on my '83?
7x17 ET 55 (part # 986.362.124.00) and 8.5x17 ET 50 (986.362.126.05). Any help is much appreciated! M.

Yes, the ET 55 will work both front and rear.
If you want to push the rears out some, a 17mm spacer will work w/o having to roll the fender. You can put a 21mm spacer in there, but I would advice rolling the inside of the fender. On the spacer subject, you have to get the hubcentric spacers. Best bet is to get them with the bolts already installed, not the 5 hole ones. If you have to get them w/o bolts, plan on taking your hubs off, getting the 72mm bolts to install as you do the wheel bearings et al. |
