Anyone know this car?
1991 Porsche 928 GT Black/Black 5 Speed
Just wanted to know if anyone knew this car. I know very little about 928's. But this one sure looks nice. Considering it for my wife's DD. Are there any issues specific to this year (or range)? Also, is anyone familiar with Hi Tec Automotive in San Francisco? It was recommended to me as a very good place for a 928 PPI. Thanks, Skip

I think I might like a GT, but I know it wouldn't work as a daily driver for my wife.
A lot of people don't want a clutch in a daily driver if they have any kind of traffic. The GT tranny I believe is a bit noisier, and I don't see its performance level really suiting a daily driver. Black on black is going be REAL hot in TX too. There was recently a "whats a good shop in SF" thread on renn list, but I can't get to the web page for some reason. For what I can see seems a bit pricey compared to other recent GTs
