Scott Mohr Contributions

Unfortunately a prominent member of the 928 community recently passed away as the result of a car accident. The online newspaper report is:

“Crash claims Saxton man's life”

“Jeffrey Scott Mohr, 42, died Wednesday after his 1990 Nissan coupe crashed at the intersection of Routes 26 and 913 near Saxton, state police reported. Mohr was northbound on Route 26 about 12:20 a.m. and at the intersection with Route 913, he traveled east across the roadway and climbed a dirt embankment. The car struck a concrete support for a utility pole and rolled to its roof. Mohr was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bedford County coroner.“

I am going to coordinate the sending of a fruit basket to the family and friends of Scott. Anyone that would like to contribute, please send contributions to my Paypal account: Stan.Shaw@Excell.Net

Any excess funds raised will be sent in Scott's name to a cause that Scott supported. At this time I do not know the exact charity, but based on a conversation with Tarek it will likely be related to dogs.

You may also send a check for the charitable contribution in my name (Stan Shaw) via my business address: Excell.Net, P.O. Box 983, Wilbraham, MA 01095

If you prefer to send money directly to the charity, I will let you know when it is identified.

For those who are interested or have contributed, I ordered a fruit basket from 1800flowers.com I did so after a discussion with Tarek who has been in contact with Josie. This is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow to the funeral chapel (that has confirmed they can store it overnight) with the following note:

"Scott was well thought of and will be greatly missed by us all. The family and friends of Scott are in our thoughts."

"With sincere sympathy, The members of the Porsche 928 community."

Tarek also confirmed that a contribution in Scott's name should be made to Bedxord County Humane Society. (I question the spelling I have but will confirm that next week). Contributions are still coming in.
