Harbor Freight $10 battery charger, module mounts on car
This looked like it might work well to me. Module mounts on the car with lugged wires to permanently connect to battery system, and AC is a set of prongs so an extension cord attaches right to the module.

I have something similar installed in the front of the car and attached to the jump post. Mine is hidden in the front pass fender with a pigtail to a similar socket in the lower front grille area. Obviously this version has to be accessible so you can plug into it. You could mount this whole thing on the floor in front of the radiator and feed the extension through the front grille.
Its nice if its oriented to easily pull free without damage if you should ever forget..... Alan
