strapping them down..

Yes, hard to coordinate when clients are in Australia...I forgot to ask what dyno he'll be using...oh well, that's what updates are for.

George plans to 1/4 mile his car before he dyno's it (dialed in via wide-band O2 sensor). He has a Porsche 1/4 mile competition he's entering. Interesting.

I have a Concours I'll be participating/Judging in this weekend & will get pictures of the kit laid out next to my car, showing it's beauty.

Wrapping up the racecar over the next couple weeks and then I'm going balls out to finish the Turbo car. Picking up the racer on Oct. 22, so it's coming soon.

Turbo car runs nice as is @8psi but not enough fuel under boost and we really need to get it where 15psi is safe for short blasts and 12psi is the norm.

If Proto-tech drags their feet, I'm heading to NC for a couple of days to spend time with Dave Roberts with the car strapped down with the ST. I'm giving Proto-tech 3 weeks to deliver or get the hell out of my way.

There should be knob on the dash, look for the icon of a piston sailing up out of a block.

Pound per pound it's hard to beat a turbocharger...

Massive midrange torque? Check

High Top End Power? Check

Quiet? Check

Efficient? Check

Long lasting? Check

The boost choice of top manufacturers? Check, check, check

I'm anxious to see some results on these systems. I know Mark caught a lot of ribbing from others. Myself I'm not a huge fan of rear mounted systems, but it's still a turbo on a 928 and I still want to see the results...GET THEM STRAPPED DOWN guys!

It's time to break some boosted 928 records.

check out HOTROD this month for a real turbo'ed sleeper...

early Pontiac with a big block Chebbie stuffed in it (although it's decal-ed and made up to look like a 326 Pontiac motor), equipped with------

TWIN REAR MOUNTED TURBO'S

laptop computer controlled fuel mapping, car looks a little rough (it's part of the "sleeper" affect), but IT RUNS IN THE LOW 9'S IN THE QUARTER MILE!!!!!!!!!!

now those are the kind of numbers I like to see from turbo'ed cars.......

I'm curious to see how these mid and rear mounted systems flow out up top.

Looks good Mark. I recently won a "Best Porsche Engine" trophy at the VW-Porsche reunion show here in Cincinnati. It came down to my engine and a guy with an 84 Carrera with like 15K miles on the clock.

Heck, PCA doesn't even consider the condition/cleanliness of the engine during Concours...pooh. Mine is real nice too with 18,006 on the odo now. A few exterior imperfections (wife/brother/ex-owner induced) kept me again from winning Best in show. Nuts.
