928 Technical Manuals
I want to buy a set of technical manuals for my 87 S4. Does anyone know the best place on-line to buy them on DVD (I don't have room for all of them in hard-copy). I've tried a couple google-searches, but I'm not familiar with the places that pop up.

Jim Morehouse has the entire set including the tech bulletins and PET (parts listings) for about $80.
e-mail him at jim928@pdt.net otherwise---you can find the FWM's on eBay for around $400---more or less. ---Russ

there is a set of manuals on "used 928 parts for sale" here on pelican parts for $299. best price I've seen in a while for hard copy manuals.

Jim Morehouse has the manuals scanned and OCRed, which means the text is both easy to read and has been indexed for searching.
The UK download has so much bandwidth per month, and when it runs out no more downloading until the next month. It has images made from old microfiche manuals. If your "Poorsche" is an 85, why do you want an 87 manual?
You're busted! :-) I forgot to mention that I still have the struts to install so you may have to wait one more week before you get your ride back. I'm really excited. I just need three more "good days" and I'll have her back together for you.....just in time for Christmas! |

A guy I work with mentioned he wanted to sell his set of factory manuals last Friday. Send me a Private message...I'd bet you can do real well on the price for them.
