'95 black GTS for $29K....good deal?

Totally non-affiliated, but came across this "newly listed" '95 black GTS on Autotrader this morning with 59,000 miles for only $29K that sounded like a pretty good deal to me. I ran a quick Carfax on it and it's a true one owner with an extremely documented service history on the Carfax report! Just FYI'ing is all. Here's the car:

It is not the actual picture. I got the brilliant idea to use an actual photo of a GTS for those that I did not have pictures of and it's created some confusion about this car and several others where I used that picture.......

You don't by chance own one of my old '94 GTS's, do you? It was about 8 years ago now, but it was a '94 polar silver with a classic gray interior, 5 speed, no side moldings and had a monsterous sound system in it! It only had 49K on it at the time. Is this yours?

But here was that really sweet polar silver with classic gray 5 speed with the HUUUUGE stereo system in it. It even had a McIntosh head unit in it! However I always hated those modifications to the door speakers. Here's that car:

I think you must have bought yours from the guy who had it listed on Ebay about a year or so ago. He used some pics in the ad from SITM.

I'm out of the loop on this one guys, the wife wants a white GTS, or silver(Polar works

), or something other than BLACK! I told her that black & red are only the most popular colors. If it had a tan or grey interior there was a chance.

I couldn't even get her to go test drive it. Wait, out of the blue she did say, "well lets go look at the GTS".... at 4pm on Sunday, its a two hour drive to the car & they closed at 6pm!!

Then she said we'd go Monday but that ended up with not enough hours in the day for me to coordinate taking off from the office to go. I decided that divorce court after 25 yrs of marriage would be more expensive than the GTS, so it kills me to say I'm having to pass.

I did call the dealer on Sunday but couldn't get a salesman to the phone. The receptionist was able to get the sales manager to tell her the interior is black. Never received a return phone call. I also emailed thru the ad & received a generic reply yesterday saying they'd contact me, but no luck on a reply either way. I'm sure had I been persistent I'd have gotten someone.

Must not have been meant to be for me. Heck I wanted to at least get to go see it & test drive it! I'd love to see a fellow 928er get this nice GTS. Chuck or Roger, keep us posted? Thanks to everyone & Good Luck.

The dealer has not responded to my emails or phone call. The ad is gone from autotrader, I read on RL it's been sold. Really want a 5-speed........

We both knew it wouldn't last thru the week at that price, even with it being an AT. A black on black '95 with decent miles for under $30K. Gone!

You weren't seriously considering an AT anyway, were you?

I didn't think so.

Your still in luck, my friend! Here's a white GTS with less miles, a year older, and just a teeny bit more $$$, before negotiation, of course. You may want to pursue this beauty. And from the sounds of who this cars really gonna be for anyway, you may as well just keep the PO's license plate too!
