Decoding transmision ID

I finally got a good look at the bottom of the transmission out of my 84 Euro, looks to me like it has ...

A28/02 16E06250

Now I just need to figure out what that means and if its neat. No "12" between the numbers so its not LSD, which I verified by turning the wheels long ago.

Auto
928
ROW or Euro
No LSD
8 cylinder
? guess 4 speed
Model year 84

*** old post repeated below so I can group the info. ***

Erkka gave me the answer below when I asked about a specific transmission. Anybody know of a more generic answer that explains all the possible values?

12= LSD, but what is non LSD? (apparently its just blank for no LSD)

***** numbers/letters aren't aligned, so count if you need to.

G28/11 12 11F05121
123456789ABCDEFGHI

1 = manual gearbox
23 = 928
56 = 11 is US '85-86
89 = 40% ZF LSD
B = transmission for 8 cylinder car
C = 5-speed
D = model year, F = '85
EFGHI = serial number with transmission type and MY,
first US box for '85 was 5001

That is what I am hoping for, if its a 2.36 apparently that is HIGHLY desirable for a 200 mph car like the open road racing guys use. As soon as I know for sure its going to be for sale.

This from 928gt.com

84 S - (Euro) 4-Speed Auto A28/02-03 16E 05001>11000
84-86 S - 4-Speed Automatic (Euro) 2.36 (2.54 - Optional)
