928S dash replacement/swap. Done one?
Im getting ready to swap the ol dash from 928S and did a search but didnt see any results so thought Id see if anyone here has tackled this project. Does it need to have the front glass pulled first or can it be done while glass still in car. Where should I start?? Ill do pics for others down the road looking for documentation on this forum...TIA

Pretty easy, the only tedious part is removing the pod: pay close attention to bolts, & the three looms that connect to the instruments (which goes where). You'll need most of your metric tools (smaller ones: needle nose pliers, flash-light/lights, speed-wrenches, sockets, etc. takes about 2.5 hours total to get it out.
hardest part is NOT breaking the surround at your factory stereo: it just prys out. EEK.
