Window Trouble

Hi all.

Having some trouble with the passenger window today while out for a drive on a sunny Illinois day. Both passenger and driver window have worked in the past week. But today only the driver window will function, while the passenger will not. The switch feels good to the touch but no movement.

Any suggestions on where to look? Are there fuses that relate to each window or is it one master fuse for the windows?

Any help would be great!

Thanks. It is a 84'.

While on the subject of switches. I also have a Sunroof that does not open. This I suspect to be switch, it feels like there is no contact. Can you troubleshoot that switch by also using a window switch that you know to be in working order? Or is that a different switch that is not interchangeable?

Same switch with a different plate on top - you can swap it to test.

However the sunroof does have a seperate fuse so check that first.

Yes, and thanks...........I will double check fuse for sunroof. That switch feels like there is no contact being made, not even the slightest of a click like on the window and rear wiper switch, so I am guessing that could the cause of the non-functioning sunroof, but I will check fuse first.
