Yes, another Euro has surfaced near here (Houston).

An '80 model, 5-speed, claims it's an "S" (until I see stamping numbers, I can't confirm this).

various electrical issues, straight sheetmetal, but minor areas of rust.

Claims it's quite drive-able but will scrap it if it doesn't sell (scrapping seems very premature to me....)

NO TITLE.......Mmmm.....?


it's on Craigslist if you are curious......$3500.


I have no dog in this hunt....just thought it interesting three Euro's come up for sale here locally in the past few weeks......

Rather than a link or a summary, here is the listing from craigslist. Actually maybe not bad, if a touch pricey for age, and I would want that mileage verified six ways from tuesday. No affiliation. Pretty looking car. No right mirror is a bit odd, or just a Euro thing?

1980 Porsche 928 Euro S model. It has less than 48k miles. 5 speed manual trans. Silver-blue exterior and Navy blue interior. Interior is in OK condition. Many of the options work such as AC, power seats, power windows, power mirror (only has one mirror) and power sun roof. The battery does NOT keep charge - there is a drain from -what I can tell- an aftermarket alarm which I have not spent the time to fix. NO engine problems or transmission problems! Just electrical quirks. The tags are expired and I do not have a copy of the title. Excellent project Porsche. That being said, this car DOES NOT need much to make it a daily driver. Minimum rust - just a few spots on the body. Strong V8 with over 200 hp. This car is VERY fast for its age. For those who know this car, it has the Bosch K-Jet fuel distribution system. The muffler is bad, but I have a replacement that comes with the car. I have extra parts including the muffler, extra K-Jet, and new fuel distribution - parts that sum up to about $1000. They will all be included with the car. The previous owner kept receipts for everything and I have them all. I also have a repair manual and technical manuals on cd-rom. I will include them as well as a binder of simple fixes and FAQ problems with 928's. If it does not sell, it will be scrapped. That'd be a waste as this car is in such good condition and almost ready to rock! Please email me! Asking price is low at $3500 I can readily email more pics and specific pictures too.
