1983 928s Owners Manual
I'm a 911 guy and have a 1983 928s Owners Manual that is absolutely perfect. I've had it since it was almost new. I just found it in a box at my parents house and had forgot I even had it. Whats the scoop? I saw one on e-bay for crazy money. Are they rare or something? Tried to search w/ no luck.

83 was one of the biggest production years. Cant be that rare.

Owners manual might sell for $10 or $20, what goes for the money are the workshop manuals, which are 9 notebooks long.
Maybe what you saw was an 83 928 manual (transmission)? |

So many of the 83's around, a bit of patience will turn up anything. My thought is that the typical 83 owner isn't going to be that much of a purist.
OTOH buying bits of model year trivia can grow on you. I bought a Euro delivery brochure, and I suspect eventually I will be filling out all the tools etc. |

Odd, he has an owners manual store, but I can't see anybody paying as much as he wants.
