I just frequent the 928 forum more than the 914, 911 turbo forums, that's all. Plus, there are still plenty of people who still think Texas is flat & boring...(althought that is somewhat true

Thanks! Wish my 928 GT2S race car was worth of a photo, but not yet

OH! Starting on the turbo kit install on my red car this weekend: will photo-document the installation to share with this forum.

I got 1/2" at Lake Travis (no hail after all), but my dad got 1" (mid-town, still no hail).

Mark - I love the Texas hill country - get to visit Austin and San Antonio frequently... After months of Arizona summer its nice to see the green everywhere.

However I have to say the sunsets in Arizona can't be beat... not even close.

When the cloudy sky is an impossible shade of bright pink and then when you look back again its streaked with an improbable shade of purple - almost hallucinogenic...

I've shown people Arizona desert sunset photographs and they've said - did you use photoshop to do that? ...they simply refuse to believe it could ever really look like that...

Maybe after the Texas OCIC we'll have to pull the next one together in Phoenix so you can all see it for yourselves (But in April though!).

Alan

Oh I agree: the dust in the desert-regions make for incredible sunsets. Since Austin is non-dusty, we rarely get good ones, though, this was sunrise: we do get a few "nice" ones every now & then.
