Post your technical questions here

Since its worked so well in other forums, here is a thread for new people to post questions in.

Not really a newbie owner, but a mechanical novice. My antilock light came on this morning on the way to work. Is this something I can check on easily, or should I bring it into the shop? What are the usual causes? I searched the "other" site, and saw references to the relay and to metal bits on the sensors. How difficult are these to check for someone with limited skills?

What is the point of this thread? This whole forum is for posting technical questions.

DanglerB, you gotta stop being so considerate. I mean, you have a new guy on the forum, probably doesn't know jack about computers and how to post messages, and you start a thread for him where he can post his question and perhaps learn from your example...... I guess that kind of behavior simply isn't appreciated here.

Next time you come across this situation, simply degrade the noob, make him feel really stupid. It will make this a better forum for all to enjoy. After all, we only want experts posting here...... No, I think the consensus is that only answers should be posted. If you have a question, go someplace else!

I'll stop blathering now......
