How much are three brand new chrome center caps worth?
The center caps are off a 1987 928 S4. What are they worth?

I recently paid $60 for 4 used polished aluminum caps in "good" condition. Plenty of scratches, needing repolishing and repainting, metal holders on the back a bit loose, but no serious corrosion. I passed on several sets of 3 that were in better shape, since 3 is only of use if you can get a 4th. Can you get a 4th?
Do you like them? I looked at maybe a dozen different styles with a strong preference, half I didn't like much, and it was easy to rank best to worst on the ones I did like. Do you need them, soon? Classified section has a listing by someone with a number of sets for sale. |

I have a fourth one, but it has no attacthment ring. The fourth one is brand new as well. I like them, but my rims arn't chrome, lol. Here's a picture of them.

Four with one missing the metal thing on the back is way better than 3, but I have no idea how a back thing gets reattached.

Maybe I could take the fourth one to a metal shop and have them weld it or something. I might just keep them for decoration then, lol. Un'till somebuddy really needs them, lol.
