Trying to work for parts!

Wheel price
Was wondering what these would be worth. They are 7x16. Definatly 928 rims given the part numbers.
Not sure if I should keep them and powdercoat them or try to sell them. ![]()

Those look like early dishes...unless they are really spotless I would say you would be lucky to get $250-$300 for them. Consider you can buy a new set of 18" wheels (8" front and 10" rear) for about $900 delivered to your door.

Yea that's about what I was thinking. They have a pretty big offset, ET65. Good thing the tires are pretty much brand new.

I received a set of disc wheels free of charge (I paid for the shipping) from a fellow 928er a few months ago......
they weren't perfect---advertised as not perfect---better shape than I expected---and have been put to much needed use. they are a big help in my paint redo----- ![]() other sets have been listed for anywhere from $100 upwards of $1k with tires. --Russ

Depending on your location a set of 7" flats won't sell for even $100.
S4 flats which are 7" front and 8" rear are MUCH easier to sell, but still easy to find for $200 or less. Exceptions always for amazing original condition, but generally everybody buying wheels want 17" or larger. Check the DOT date code, lots of nice looking plenty of tread left tires that are 10 years old and not safe to drive on. |
