Headlight Motor Wiring
One fast question until I can get a shop manual. Does anyone know which color coded wires p[lug intp which numbered connection on the headlight motor on a '78' 928 ? Thank you guys.

I don't see a color listed in my wiring diagram for 78, just connector positions and wire sizes.
At the central electric panel, connector N pins 5, 6, 7, and 8 go to motor connector pins 30 (only fat wire to motor power), 86, 56, and 30b (smaller switch contacts) respectively. Ground connection for the motor isn't clear, maybe its the body of the motor? 56 and 30b have a diode in series with them (inside the motor case I think). |
