928 engined Ford Granada?
hello one and all, yesterday was looking on google for more information on a 2400hp twin turbo ford Granada Mk2, but instead I came across a Mk1 Granada coke bottle coupe with a 928 engine.
does anyone on here know any more about this car? I have more pictures, but for the life of me, I cant find the website where I found it originaly. anyone?  P.s I'll ad up the other pictures if anyone wants to see em. |

Something to consider is that motor isn't hooked up, no radiator hoses etc. Thats an older CIS non electronic injection motor, so not a lot of "work" to drop it in and make it run.
Any other picts look like it a running car? This one actually looks a bit photoshopped to me, going by the size of the intake body vs the size of headlights etc. |

Nice work on that bellhousing! that took some real machine work. I would have bet money that was a photochop with out the second and third photo.

The M28 engine is fascinating- high tech and with a cool name on the cam covers. The problem you don't typically see them outside of 928's is that the bell housing bolt pattern is different from typical transmissions.
-That could be an interesting part, that bell-housing adapter. One of the 928 vendors should build adapters to fit common transmissions from gm and Ford, etc. Wouldn't do much for us, but the hot-rod guys are ALWAYS looking for something unique... N! |

That bell housing mount probably cost more than the entire rest of the project!
I always like to see the crazy stuff people come up with based on 928's! Great fun! James |

I found a local guy on craigslist, works in a shop with a big modern CNC machine and his boss told him is OK for him to learn to use it by doing projects of his own as long as its in soft material like wood or aluminum. He put an ad on CL offering to make parts for a "reasonable" fee.
