Pictures of me dominating the local concours...

Ok, I didn't dominate, James did though... Always a great excuse to clean your cars up.

What? No love for the slammed, stuffed and huffed show shark? I mean really, last I saw your car, it looked like it belonged in a museum... No elbow grease required. Since then, you've just enhanced it a bit!

Wish I could have made it out... But, WTG James!

Looking forward to Third Coast.

ATB,
Bill

Hey there Mr. Bill: yes, going to the show for sure, not sure about the other two days: I still maintain a full plate, but the show & test drives are a go.

Hmmm... Stuck over with the other Bastard Stepchildren I see.

Someday you will get to sit at the cool lunch table with the 911's.

Okay..True Porsches to the right..front engined german cars with markings simular to Porsche to the left..

Wish we could have made it but...(wedding). You should consider scooting down here to SA one Friday evening to check out "Biff's." Biff Buzby's is a local burger joint that has "cruising night" on Friday nights, all makes and models welcome. We go once in a while and I'm kind of tired of the Porsche representation being the dame ole guy with a 914 so I'm taking off next Friday to wash/wax the 928 to take it up on the 17th... Why the 17th you ask? Elvis impersonator! :-)

Sounds like an excuse to wear bell-bottoms to me. Sounds fun, will have to do that sometime!

And sequin shirts unbuttoned to your navel! Glad I will miss that! LOL!

Thanks for the props Mark. I was robbed on the overall though. Talked to one of the class judges who knows my car well and he said, no way the 10k mile black 993 was better than Blue82!

Whatever. No biggie. I probably won't participate at all next year. Like you I spent a lot of time and $50 to participate and took home....NOTHING! No goodie bag, no door prize, NADA, ZIP, NOTHING! I ran that show for 6 years? 7 years??? Whatever it was. The last time I ran it 55 cars entered! Everyone went home with a SWEET goodie bag (not a plastic or paper bag mind you, but a REAL canvas bag you could USE!) and at least one door prize if not two (for most folks) and the best prizes could have been won by anyone who entered. I watched half the door prizes go to people who just SHOWED UP! WTF!

Yea, yea, yea, I know it was some member appreciation thing going on...but you know what, MAYBE the FREE LUNCH would have been enough for those who just showed, save the good stuff for those who PAID... Not to mention put in TONS of hours cleaning cars!

Ok, sorry to vent, but I feel a bit better anyway!

James

Yes, Shelly noticed that M & V showed up, did nothing, have done nothing ever for p-dillo, & walked away with two free lunches & 4 prizes. That didn't sit will with her either. Oh well.
