I need a K jet part... anyone?

I need a fuel temp switch. It's a two wire warp switch. It is closed when cold. When hot it opens and disconnects the ground. It's located on the passenger side of the engine on top of the heater hose connection. The attached photo shows the broken switch. one of the male connections broke off.

Anyone have an extra?

It turns this hot start solenoid off which turns off the fuel to the cold start injector.

I did a work around and used a water based switch but I would like to put this back the way it is supposed to be.

More info here, and they call it a "temperature time switch".

Pelican sells it for $57 shipped, but the connector is like an injector.

Thanks for the link buddy. The work around I used incorperated the type of sensor shown on the pelican parts page. That sensor needs to sit in water. The one I'm looking for is dead headed in the heater core connection on the rear of the right cylinder head. The threaded hole does not actually read direct water temp, but is a heat sink and reads the radiated temp from the engine.

Need picture, and refresh my memory on exactly which model year this part is from.

The location you talk about I am used to seeing a thermal valve for the air pump vacuum control line.

I attached a photo in the above post. Here's the switch. It's supposed to have two mail terminals.

I have an 82 if it helps you... If the part is not broken and I have it, $20 plus shipping and it's yours.

It's on the heater hose fitting. Your part would have a tube coming off of it. I didn't need the tube so I cut it off and capped it with a brass fitting.

Notice one of the terminals is broke off. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1225339870.jpg

You can see it to the left in this photo under the fuel line.
