auto gearbox problem
 

I have read some other threads but cant find the same problem. sometimes my car wont shift to 4th gear but sometimes it does if I blip the pedal.

lately this is not working and it just stays in 3rd. I need to do an oil change and this might solve it but maybe its something else. has anyone else had this issue? I read it could be a vacuum leak or the cable is stretched but dont know where to look. can any point out where to find these?

First thing I would try is drain and refill tranny fluid making very sure its the correct amount.

Yup, do the trans kit. I am the one with the Bowden Cable issue and was able to adjust the slack out. The other thread with the 3 speed on his 4 speed was evozine. He still hasn't resolved his issue, but I think he will be pulling his trans to fix his. He never got his in 4th, you have. I would take Danglers advice and do the filter and fill up with fresh fluid. This will probably fix your issue.
