Which cam gears for a 16v motor?
I want to use the round sprocket cam gears, do I need the ones specific to 83/84 or will later cam gears also work?
Heads are from a 85 Euro motor. Below from 928Intl online catalog. 928 105 545 10 Cam Gear 83-84 w Round Teeth 928 105 530 01 Timing Cam Gear 85-95

Both will work.
I have the 85+ on mine. Allows for slight adjustment of cam gear timing.

N20 is correct---
if you use Porken's timing adjusting tool (I have them myself), you need the HTD gears. See his website for details..... ![]() --Russ
