How do you decide / handle the transition line between the old paint and new?

Seems like some areas like the rear 1/4 window it varies a lot.

What do you do to the gutter along the edge of the roof, paint or mask?

Dumbest question for last, what is it that you are putting on? Why the different shading?

The panels are all striped to metal then the edges are all sanded and the metal is treated with self ech primer then it is primered. The roof is just in self ech primer I am going to seal wet on wet sealer then to base coat(90 line BASF which is water base) then clear coat.

Post some pics from before you started stripping it Sonnett.

This car had a pretty good paint job already but Sonnett wasn't satisfied with it so he's doing it a second time. It was a metalic orange color.

Update

Well I ran the car on the dyno today and I ran out of fuel at the top. I do not have a dyno sheet as of now but the dyno guy said that it was 487rwhp and 483rwtq at 12.5 psi . I have to put in a 044 pump in it and run it agian soon. So it is not official untill i get a sheet in hand.
