Welcome aboard Cogsy,
You are the only other 928 that I've seen with that Erebuni Tail. It makes an agressive statement along with your other body work. My car is a 1989 S4.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1262291029.jpg |
thanks craig mine is a 1981 928s strosek i bought the car from a guy who had left it stood for 9 yrs at his manor house when we started work there i made him an offer for it and we came to an agreement it is parked up on my drive waiting for the spring/summer so i can do some work on it

Where's the 928 pictures post? Post em!
The 911 forum has tons of 911 photos. Let's see what you guys have. Break out the cards. Come on it will be fun. There's 105 pages of posts on the best 911 art shot. Some of you guys claim whole collections of 928s. So in accordance to the law of the internet, Section A) A picture or it isn't true. Section B) A picture or it didn't happen. lol

Considering the number of 928's made and imported compared to the 911's, I think we have done well on pictures.

Hey, Chris, you like 928's?

[QUOTE=Landseer;6480969]Had a get-together, but nobody came.
What part of Indiana are you in? Are there ever any gatherings in this state? Seems Texas and California are the hot spots for 928 action. |
Nice pick Landseer!. I was interested to see what you had. It's cool that you have a 944 in the pic too. I had a dream about my old 944 a while back. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1326063334.jpg

Mine are taken from 75feet away for a reason. Purchase prices on that lot total less than 11K. No pretending, they are rescues and drivers. Not up to your standards, though improving. Am in it only for the rescue, to wrench and drive. When they breakdown finally, will find another hobby. Look closely, you'll see the 951 peeking out. |
Landseer, The secret is Zymol buddy. It will bring anything back to life and if it had any positive effects as a drug I would snort it. It smells so good! lol It makes you wanna drink a pina collada on the beach while you wax your ride. I also use a wax called ICE but it leaves streaks if you don't really rub it off. My preference is blue Zymol cleaner wax. Wax them twice or three times. I suggest a girl in a bikini to help with your spread of cars. That looks like it could get time consuming. I feel the same way about cars. Wrenching is my zen. It's what I do for fun. I used to be into english motorcycles, but they are too dangerous in the modern day cell phone infested world. I don't care for coffins so I switched to Porsches.
Believe it or not I paid $4,000 for my 911. $300 to get it running. It has no rust and 43,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner. |
86.5 5-speed turbo/intercooled. Somewhere between 19-21k miles I think (forgot)...been 6months since I've driven it.

MarkRobinson, I love the headlight covers and the fog light covers. That's an awesome wind resistance idea.
Kuehjo, beautiful color. I noticed Landseer's blue 928S too. That's my next buy. I'm going to own one in red, white, and blue. Then I will do the American Dream post on this forum. Keep them coming. Let see more! |
