mrtiffin and NOS_SHARK:
I designed and fabricated the front spoiler, side skirts, and hood scoop. They are all hand laid fiberglass. They are also made as "bolt on" components and not blended to the body. although, they were formed on the body for proper fit. So, if they are ever damaged they can be removed and repaired. The hood is also a functioning "ram air" hood, drawing air off the top of the rad, through the duct and into the air box. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1233167701.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1233167718.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1233167757.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1233167784.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1233167812.jpg |

Hey Kuhn,
Is it me or does your car seem like it rides a little higher than normal? That's gotta be a fun ride! |
The suspension didn't have time to settle from all of the torque.....
|
thats exactly what I figured SmileWavy

If you had run clothespins all the way around it would have looked like the lower jaw of a shark... |

Here's my '85 on display at Rennsport Reunion III when we had our Sharks at Daytona gathering in 2007. |
Never actually measured the ride height...but I beleive it is within spec. Remember a lot of these cars have been lowered below factory ride height. My 81 is set below factory height.

Kuhn...If I was an MD-11 captain at my airline, I would buy that silver car off of you right tonight! As it is, I can't afford anything like that and I'm just going to have to wait a few years.
-I flew last week with a guy who has a Lamborghini Diablo, and he described its performance to me. It would definitely leave my 928S2 behind, but I bet one of your turbo's would show its' tail lights to his car! The captain was totally cool; he lives in Laredo, Texas, and loves the 928. He told me that if I ever wound up there with him, he'd get the Diablo out of his garage and bring it to the hotel and let me drive it around the block! I'm bidding for lines that go through Laredo next month!! N! |

I have them on my 928. I wanted to come to the "Shark Shiver" tonight, but I think it involves too much "shiver" for my tastes. I think it will be 50 degrees in Sebring tonight~! Good lord I thought this was south Florida~! Anyway, Hope y'all have a good time! N! |
2012 porsche 928 concept. I would like to see this on the road.

I hope the first one sold pulls up to a stop light next to Herr Kuhn. ;)
