i dont know color called on 82 brn/tan = OL 32 means what ?

78 376 is color 93 means what J2 means what

got pic of each and cant them to afix here. yet there a mess anyway had 3 months 78 and 2weeks 82

Check your option sticker, in the hatch area under the carpet over the fuel tank.

Rixter is the only one outside of Porsche that seems able to get info from just the vin.

The cert from Porsche is often wrong, but its not a lot to worry over.

no worries on birth cert curious though who doesnt want all info you could get on ur car also the car fax shows 6 records i may never know that either curious of course but really if ur thorough and skilled enough or have bucks youd know what u got and if its been monkeyed f---d with anyway

on the 82 vin plate in driver door its not OL 32 its 04 32 wait im seeing it you think its prob not a 32 either and 04 82 whats the 04 mean a month

to answer a few of you questions
your 78 is a late 78MY RoW car, I have never seen an option code sticker in an early car (77-79)
pre-82 car option codes are not accessible except thru a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or Cardex directly from Porsche AG... I wouldn't expect a lot from it either, these early records are stored in paper form in a warehouse in Germany and many of them aren't complete or are wrong
as to your 82... it was made in April 82 from the info you've provided, and given the vin it's probably correct
above the vin sticker on the door should be another sticker (small silver, horizontal) that has the color code and name for the paint should be there, if not post a decent exterior pic and I should be able to tell you what it is
as for the option codes on the 82, I have a batch of cars to run next week and I'll add yours to the mix and post the options

thank you muchly for option code on 82 , there was/is no horizontal plate odd for that to be missing , only have the vin in digital dot (orange) with more digital dots 04 32 rest is weights , wheel pressure all that smooze they put on the vin plate stamped in on its correct lines. pics are posted on the 78 euro 82 us update and pic post

the interior i get its tan and some dark brn carpeting but the color of car meets the looks of two possible browns blk mocha ? or carmel or caramel (both delicous haha) potatoe potato tomatoe tamato id rather be driving wha ho
