Should have been workin on the 928!!!!

Here in New England took my ski doo out for a one of its first test runs, picked up couple hundred bucks weekend ago fixed it all up, have older ski doo 75 tnt and the 1985 tundra hauler rescuer sled if need be goes out with it feeling safe enough for a good long trail ride
nice trail riding day for couple hours got back across lake close to home and tundra burned badly though didnt go through lake hauled the debris home with the tnt --- tundra fails its test run. sadly and i repeat #$@!#
Whole fiesco fire dept , rescuers, and all such an embarassment should have been workin on the 928 You try to catch a break

Bad fuel line?

That's some severly old slededge you've got there. My first was an Orange Moto-Ski Capri 340. I then had a 1972 Ski-Doo Nordic 440E and finally a 1979 Ski-Doo Citation SS. Man, that's going back a long way for me. The Moto-Ski had a Hirth single cylinder 340cc engine with a diaphragm carb, when you opened up the throttle it would spray fuel mist all over your clothing. We had named the sled "The Beast". I sold it 2 years later for $10.00

Now you can get a 650cc Polaris that will top over 100 MPH with ease...the new sleds are crazy fast and handle like mad. I can remember muscling the Moto-Ski around...all it had was springs, no shocks anywhere.

ohh im sure this had recalls on it it was all worked through top to bottom for sure

fuel line youd think , primer or throttle maybe didnt dump fuel built up overheating on a warm day for it.

Back to working on the 928 interior today MOLD on a positive note must be getting less and less of a mold smell cause can smell the rubber from the ski doo over it and its couple buildings over.

and workin exhaust muff more too.

That is just sad. Onward and upward.

Yeah they are great however never get one stuck in deep powder, if you do, you had better be in top shape or a stroke will be knocking at your door hehe.

I had a newer El Tigre souped up, was a bad ass but nearly killed myself on it a few times with one incident dumping it off on a snow bank dropping sideways into the highway. Another time had broken through the ice on a local river playing around with a friend who had a Mach 1 (I believe), but the ole girl had plenty of power to skirt over the top for about 13 feet and my friend nailed his brakes in time but did not have the balls needed hehe.
