Center Console Vent Switch
 

I am starting to put my Center Console back in, but need to make sure that all the parts are functioning correctly first. There is a switch under the vent at the top of the console, when does this function? Also, does the lever to the right of the switch look broken? 2nd pic is with the switch in the opposite direction, 3rd is the back side.

The lever thing is I think open and close for the vent. Looks like the pawl somehow touches the metal bit, of what looks to me like a microswitch (click from a tiny range of movement).

Whats it plug into?

All wild guesses.

The reason I was asking if the lever was broken was because the pawl only can only pull the switch down. I am not sure how the switch comes up. I will look tomorrow on what it plugs into, but I am suspecting another connector going to the harness, from there would be a mystery to me. Let me be positive tomorrow.
