ID Auto Tranny Part? Vacuum Part?

I can't seem to find the part that connects to the vacuum line at the tranny. Vacuum Modulator?

if you have the PET diagram, look at illustration 308-55. I think its the pressure control valve #26, Depending on your tranny, either 126 270 257 9, or 126 270 937 9.

Of course, double check to make sure I am correct...

I am looking at PET and don't see a 308-55, mine only goes to 308-10 then 309. I have a 1981 3 speed. Am I using PET incorrectly?

MPDano- here is a scan from a "82" MY service manual. I have more info on shift point adjustments if you are interested. Hope this helps.

I actually plugged the vacuum line that goes to this modulator and I like the shifting better. Before it was very mushy, it shifts better now. Is this bad to not use this vacuum modulator? Also, I can still hear some sort of vacuum when I accelerate, so this is not the source.
