79 928 - more stuff working

Today I spent the day pulling out all the fuses and cleaning them as well as the terminals. So far, the fan blower works now and I got the back right turn signal to work. (got headlights straight last night by doing that).

I suspect these are the original fuses. I broke two trying to clean the ends, but there were a few extras. Maybe there is a more modern equivalent to these that I can pick up at a local auto store???

Here's some that I bought and they are exactly what you are using now. Keep is stock.

Wow, that's an outstanding price since if I remember correctly those are a buck a piece from 928intl.

There you go.

Make sure you get German made brass and copper fuses, mine were about $10 for an assorted pack from some VW place in San Diego via ebay. I've seen claims that the aluminum strip fuses tend to corrode more.

I received the fuses yesterday from the seller on ebay and they are the brass and copper fuses. Thanks for the link above.

Yup, Brass and Copper. I think they had Mercedes written all over the package.
