How Do I Replace the Brakes on a 87 - 928?

I bought my '87 928 S4 new. I have had the dealer replace the brakes and rotors twice (It has 89,000 miles). My 18 year old son wants to replace the brakes and rotors. I have changed disc brakes on English and American cars. However, I am not certain how to take off the retaining mechanism on a Porsche. Also I am not certain how to reset the parking brake. If anyone knows of a book with a how to description I would appreciate the referral. Also, I would appreciate hearing about any tricks I need to know. Thank you.

The step-by-step pictures posted by jthwan22 are excellent!
I'd buy a cheap Turkey baster ($1.00) to remove excess brake fluid from the main resevoir before you start compressing the calipers. And remember to order new brake pad sensors when ordering pads, the sensors become brittle from the heat and always break apart when you try to remove them.
The E-brake is simply a brake shoe set-up with an adjusting star wheel, once you pull off the rear rotor you will see it.
