Added to latest recent 928 updates in last page, which have been with higher priority in my 928 projects, also my "max wide" 928 project is getting further as we are now doing actual fittings of biturbo engine parts and intercooler to front of the engine bay and planning partial engine cooling to rear department. My engine guy is already planning this composition, meanwhile he is finishing my two other engines (928 S3 NA modified and 911 964 3.6RSR modified), as he made already in 5 months 2 other of my engines (here last page shown 928 S4 engine and my Strosek RUF BTR 3.4L engine). "Max wide" suspension (coilovers by 928 Motorsports Carl) is already set and roughly adjusted under the car with racing parts (photos will come as soon as it is up in thre air again)... here some pics of fitting maximum size slick tyres under the car... This was important to check that tyres and wheels I want to fit in, do really fit, before bringing this body to painter.

My blue Strosek 928 "MaxMoritz" street rep will get also red intake manifolds and stainless headers with X-over (I bought truck load of these) even if its heads will be changed to S4 heads with S3 camshafts...

"Max wide" 928 will get Blownsix biturbo intercooler to its nose (as sketched in last page here) with 2 x Borg Warner 996 GT2 turbos...

These are leftovers of one of my projects I was going to build a 911 3.4L biturbo... I'm going to build it, but with one off tailor made 935 K4 style intercooler + intake manifold and other turbos...

Last fitting of our semi wide front fenders: they do accommodate here 255-18 R88 tyres in ET60 wheels easily, and you can see they do work also up to 285-18 tyres with street cambers with something like 50-60ET wheels, and still look almost oem fitting well with GTS rear fenders. Now they go to moulding so that we can get originals out this spring for at least 3 of our own 928 cars...

I also fitted Porsche Becker CD player/radio to my 928 S4... I think it looks quite ok in black center console... almost like oem, although some 10 years younger than my car... . Sound was ok also for my wife.

This is the way I would like to do my exhaust to mega wide biturbo 928, as SLR tuning pipes does...

... but because of some European racing rules (exhaust exit should be in rear side of center point of axel lines of car) I am probably obligated to do it this way: through the center tunnel side surfaces through the cockpit in insulated and isolated fire tunnel to sides to exit next to rear tyres...

Our semi wide project car (1984 4,7L euro S), now still automatic, but also turning to 5sp 928 manual... got its roll cage. Interior must be cleaned and painted inside and outside, but otherwise this car is ready to drive when we get those new front arch body parts...

Our ultra wide project engine before its build starts: rough mock up to place turbos and exhaust / inlet linings, if using K-Jet or LH-jet (period correct to Gr5 times, as if back then 928 never was tried in such format). If we choose to make some other stand alone management system, , fresh air intakes can be directly to turbos... Meanwhile finishing our 911 and 930 cars to this summer track activities https://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/413807-strosek-911-ruf-finally-back-kicking-10.html.

Anyway I will locate turbos to front corners (front of front tyres) and with single throttle body arrangement. We are going to use 928 S standard intake manifold, but as with modified entry for horizontal throttle body...

I got back my 928 S4 heads for my blue 928 32v S3 engine to be changed: I want to my S3 engine having S4 heads with S3 camshafts... to reach higher compression than S4 standard. And I want to keep S3 large intake manifold as well: in hopes to get some more power with higher compression ratio, stainless exhaust headers and better flowing heads, but keep the torque of larger manifold and S3 cams. To be seen .

Thx for compliments. Long time with these cars (since 1990), there is almost 30 years of driving plenty and updating some of them... I rather drive all my work trips (about 80-100 000km per year, my wife drives about 50 000km per year) with interesting cars rather than boring ones... Every car of mine is not drivable every year: some cars have had or are having short term minor treatment (like rebuild of the engine, suspension change etc.) and then some will get larger treatment with longer process time ... and it doesn't matter me. They tend to come ready like everything in my life, it just sometimes takes more time. My life is a continuous process of living between making something, doesn't matter if it is a large scale building project of my client or toy car for my child... or my own toy car.

All these cars are bought to us for use as they have been 'new' for time being, and some of them have been turning to 'project' cars for my fun.
928 is a special car to me: it was my first proper (super?) car 1990 when I was 22, and it was my major car for all of my drives for over a decade... even if other cars came to share its drive load: cabriolet Jaguar in 1994 etc... Obviously because of that my major dreams to modify are targeted to 928, which can be seen in this thread especially in my 'max wide' project. Garage things are my relief and joy between other responsibilities...
