i had to laugh at a ebay seller today
there is a Ebay seller...listing vinyl emblems for 928's...like he states...you just put them on your car and you can take of as many times as you like..so im guessing there magnetic!...LOL
so i wrote him/them a little quiz...how the hell do you fix a magnet to a alloy body panel?..LMAO these are his words "I GUARANTEE THAT AFTER YOU PARK YOUR CAR AND WALK AWAY... YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK BACK AND SAY THE BADGES LOOK AWESOME"(laying on the ground)...lol

if your at the point where you cant even afford an orig emblem for car maybe should just give it now. otoh if high crime area and you keep getting them ripped off your car by someone making a fast buck i suppose the static cling window sticker is something , saves on fixin any damage to car now what do you do if youve trained your kids to do the same sol
i know my mercedes hood not star emblem but that cylinder with star that sticks up gets toasted now and again its like 12-15 yr old 300e and replaced a couple of them. one big snow storm on highway and big plow truck threw heavy slush off plow and smashed it right off hood ornament thats it. good thing its been a long day id be hurting if had the day to go from here later |
