"fuel pressure regulator"

hi all i just got from ebay a universal "fuel pressure regulator" pic attached can any one tell me were to fit this and is it recommended if u have pic pls send over thank you
i drive a 1978 porsche 928

I would buy the correct part, they usually last 20 years or more if they are used

I wouldn't put that junk on anything. It's a fuel handling part and potential disaster. Even if it weren't of unknown quality your 78 has its regulator built in to the fuel distributor.

dont forget about the fuel accumulator in the forward portion of the RRwheel well
