Clutch adjustment

I have a clutch that seems to drag a little. Obviously, this makes shifting a chore. I've checked the slave cyl, and it appears to be extending properly, and there is no leaking fluid. I've heard there is an adjustment for equal clearance for the two clutch plates.So,.. does this mean I have to pull the starter, slave cyl and access plate to effect this adjustment? Any other suggestions?
Thanks, Kerry

Kerry if your starter is connected to the bell housing pan then you have an option to drop the starter with the pan, its easier than removing the starter from the pan first.
Dis connect the battery first before removing the starter wires, and read the WSM on how to adjust the clutch.
You may also have to bleed the clutch, first inspect the MC and slave for leaks

It appears that the slave cylinder is also attached. So,.. after pulling the inspection plate, how do I release the clutch tension if the slave is on the garage floor next to the plate?
Im confused.
