3 speed to 4 speed auto swap?
 
I was wondering if anyone has swapped a 3 speed auto out for a 4 speed auto in an early car. I am not sure how feasible it is at this point but just throwing it out there. Any thoughts?

possible--

benefits include higher stall speed converter, stronger trans, one more gear.

make sure you get all of the pcs to do this (from donor car).

Do you need the whole TT?

I believe there was no difference in torque tubes between the two autos.

maybe someone else can confirm this?

I've also thought of this. What are spedo accuracy implications?
