is it ok? it has always been clean and dry any other times ive seen in there

oil deposit

928 engines ingest a lot of oil......

thought so nail biting nerves racking but then again, duh a filter there for a reason. does it work both ways as to not ingest going in but oil wont get blown all over either.

I've seen a lake of oil in the U tube. When the motor sucks oil through to the cylinders it lowers the effective octane so detonation can be an issue.

Various schemes to rework the PCV flow seem to do a good job at stopping the oil.

i do have erratic idle start the car 1050ish 2/3 sec intervals 875-900ish like dozen times down up down up bout a minute ... before finally going to set 950. if i excelarate the process by rev/gas pedal steady 1200 or so for 15-20 secs steadies out faster and idles right.

That is an old picture, probably 2002. I change my oil every 6 months = 1300 miles.

I probably have the cleanest M28 engine in the world! I put the oil from this car in my lawnmower and 6.2 kw generator. The three run like tops...
