Whats with all the Spam we are getting last couple day!!
i've been reporting them...but more just keep showing up....Hey you Spamming low lifes,...if your reading this post...crawl back under those rocks you live under and go away!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly it amazes me that these guys spend the time...

It's probably one guy using an IP anonymizer. I'll keep deleteing as fast as we see them, they'll get bored eventually.

Guys - all of the moderators have been busy lately with spam. You folks don't even see a tenth of the amount of crap that keeps coming in....

I'd love to know why they are targeting the 928 forum.. Strange. Same thing happened with one of the regional forums about 6 months ago. THe spammers usually tire of having their posts deleted 5 minutes later...

I'd say that would be it, for awhile the spam posts were lasting a day or more. One spammer posted in the classifieds, and came back a few months later in the same account and posted again.

I think the spammer may get paid even if the spam only lasts a few hours.

90% of spam is generated by web bots. It's not only the 928 forums which are being targetted - lots of stuff in the Off Topic forums as well. Could be that the 928 forum is somehow 'low hanging fruit' in the bot searches. Other than that, I don't know how spammers work. Spammers and trolls - life would be so much better without them!
