Door Replacement Speakers
I bought two 4" Kicker speakers. Unfortunately, the magnet is so wide, it hits the inner panel (slight hump on one side). I tried mounting them using spacers and new grill covers but the grill covers just look bad. I prefer to keep stock grills.
Has anyone replaced these door speakers and were you able to keep the stock grill covers?? I see some JL's might work. Any ideas??

Speakers made for the dash of a chevy S10 might fit. The early pre external grill cars have even less room, and a handful speakers fit totally behind the door panel. Shallow or thin are keywords to search with, but until you actually have a speaker in your hands it can be hard to guess if it will fit.
MBquart is popular in the cars with grilles. |
