84 Usa L-jet wiring diagrams

Why I need this!
I have the Edis hooked up and ready to go but have a couple of questions on enabling the FP relay. On an 84 I know it uses a safety to stop the Fuel Pump if it looses signal from the green wire. I would like to keep this active and need to know the best way to hook this up. V3.0 of the Mega Squirt asked for a FP relay to drive both the ox sensor and fuel pump, this is enabled by a main relay when the key is turned on. I would like to tap on to the CE panel and use an external relay but can I use what is already in place. The computer controls this so what location would be best to attach the connections. I was told that we will not need the IAC and it can be compensated via programming is this correct? |
