Well folks....my passenger side door handle just packed it in. I've ordered the parts from 928 International, and they will arrive tomorrow, if UPS is to be believed.
I'm in a different neighborhood now. Back then, I was in Orlando, and the neighborhood was teeming with kids. Now I'm in Fort Lauderdale, and the neighborhood is teeming with...blue hairs. Looks like I'm either going to fold my hands inside the door or use long needle nose pliers. I think it can be done with pliers from Bass Pro Shop, and if I can do it that way, I'll post the video on my YouTube site, Flies2FLL. |
ahh one other thought "extra umph" hmm if your shutting the door and its kinda bouncing back at you, thats vacuum related? close slowly/gently and firmly press your hand at the lock/edge area shut, better yet there has to be a window down/cracked so it lets the air pressure out of the cabin. does your door open and close if you have the window cracked open?
another thought door panel (sag) at the bottom clips not holding and got brutalize in the jamb, jamming it |
