fuel accumulator problem
i got a 1979 euro 928 i have noticed some fuel drops on the back tire looking under the back wheel cover i noticed the accumulator is dripping from the top part there is a cap at the top any idea how bad can it gets or how can i change the sill or what ever inside or go for new one???

you should replace this part before running the car, also inspect the fuel lines if any of these are corroded badly they should also be replaced, fuel spilling onto a rear tire could catch fire or cause loss of control

There are no rebuilds for the accumulators. Since yours is leaking at the top, the diaphram is obviously broken and will cause hard warm starts. As Mrmerlin states, the fire hazard is the biggest concern.
