Need Sunroof help
My motor seems to be out. When i hit the button the gear moves VERT slightly but the roof does not move at all. I assumed it had a manual overrides to started spinning the screw. I thought the screw came out to reveil a hex bolt but that screw does not. It is very hard to turn to open or close. Now that the rain is coming i cant seem to close the roof. The screw head is starting to strip.
Ideas?

Could be the screw is too tight for the motor to turn it.

Did you test the motor by taking it off the gearing of the sunroof? See if the motor works without any resistance. If the motor works fine that way, maybe you just need to take the gear part apart and clean out all the old gunk and re-lube.
If you can't close the sunroof with the manual override screw, something must be binding up somewhere.
