I went back and re-read your topic. Why did you get an 18" one made then?

I just made an estimate, an over-estimate. It's not too long, really.

When it comes to wiring and cleaning use this stuff. Nothing better.

DeoxIT D Series and Deoxit Shield S Series

Regarding the theory of how electrons travel, I'm sure they do travel through the material, but considering how much of an improvement was made just by cleaning up the outsides of the wires, I'd say electrons prefer traveling on the outside.

:)

Yes, the current flows inside the conductor. However, at high frequency's in the radio spectrum, the higher the frequency will cause the current to flow on the surface of the conductor.

I cleaned all the ground points in my 928 and replaced the ground strap from the battery to frame. It had developed internal resistance. I would suggest replacing that strap.

Those undercar ground cables are not insulated so that moisture/water will not be held in place, the water will be able to run out, and the ground cable will dry. Just an FYI. :)
