Advice from my old barber who made a nice side income buying and selling boats, never buy anything that won't go on a trailer. Boats that live in the water NEVER are profitable.

Boats are like Porsche's, unless you use them on a regular basis, reliability gets VERY expensive.

One of the local Porsche guys is captain of this boat, and I got a ride last week, very nice.

As the owner of, and the former owner of many boats... Mike is right.. slip fees are murder. I've had everything from a 14" bay craft, to a 27' carribean. All on trailers
BTW, Can't go wrong with a SeaRay.

Not to mother hen or anything, but.....
An express cruiser, or any boat of that size, is a lot to handle for a first boat.
Are you an experienced seaman? There's a lot to boat handling, maintenance, etc. especially if you are going out in open water. Hope you find your dream cruiser.

No problem mother hen, I want a bigger boat so that we can enjoy it as the little ones get older and we can still grow and enjoy it! With room for them and yes we will do some open water and don't want to be out there in no dingy! Not looking to spend 30/40 k something a little older but won't sacrifice the size, heck I work on my Porsche, so i don't have issue working on boat!! Fox I will take you up on that boat ride for sure! Not a beer drinker but I keeps me some " hennessy"!!!!
