Looking for an early AC relay - 928 618 105 00

I need an early 78 to 79 AC relay please. They are NLA from all sources so a used one is my only option.
I would like more than one if I can find a couple. One for my car and the second one to have copied if possible.
Email me your price at roger@************.
Thanks in advance.

Brad,
Thanks for the links - this is a very special relay and will be hard to replicate.
Most relay producers want minimium quantites of thousands to proceed.

One Rennlister has already come up with a "work around" but I want the real thing so to speak.

Roger

You must've missed my thread about me buying the last AC relay. It's for sale for $900.

Roger, how early do you need? I have an 82, my A/C doesn't work, not sure if my relay is functional, I'll give it to you and then you can cut me a good deal on the new ones you have built.

Hi ROGER

Got a part number for the relay ?

Mine is a UK 86S2 ..but maybe the relay is worth checking for the number....its there (relay) and my aircon doesn't work anyway and you are welcome to it if its the same ?

All the best Brett

Hi Baby Shark,
First you have to have a relay before you can fix it.

I have a 928 618 109 00....same? I have a few relays I picked up over the years having owned 7 (82, 83, 83, 83, 86, 86.5, 88). Perhaps it's a newer edition?

Would there possibly be one in a 80 model? Tell me where to look and I'll see if I can find it.

It would be interesting to see what the insides of the CIS fuel pump relay that was being considered for modification look like, be funny if it was the same with different pot setting.

I just looked on the 928 Specialists web page with all the relay charts. looks like 77-79 was the only years the compressor used a relay.
