Starting Problem

My 82 928 turns over when i turn the key but with in seconds it stalls. No matter what i try it won't turn over again for up to 10 minutes then it stalls again.

It has gas and the battery is 1 year old and fully charged.
What else should i check?

Is it running to rich perhaps? Wet'ing the plugs and wont start until it has dried up a bit?

If running to rich, my Maser does the same thing. Try removing the plugs, dry them and install. If it starts it's probably rich of some reason. Don't know too much about the engine control on these cars yet, but likely suspects would be temp sensors or similar.

Cheers, Jarle

check the battery connections put a jumper cable from the negative post to chassis ground in addition to the one in the car

Clean the hot post connections and the 14 pin connector above it.

Clean all of the fuses and the relays make sure you have the correct relay and fuse in the correct slot use a pencil eraser to clean the elex connections
Get a fuse relay chart here 928gt.com on the 2nd page under tips and links
